HCAC Hosts Stellar All Media Show

HCAC Call for Artists for the 2019 All Media Juried Art Show brought 35 artists, entering the competition to vie for a piece of the $1200 prize money being offered. Entries are in variety of media, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastels, gouache and mixed media. Also entered were photography, jeweled collage, assemblage, textiles, decorative gourds, and other items.

The variety of work includes representational realism, expressionism, impressionism, abstract, contemporary works, and more. The quality of art is as wonderful as it is diverse.

Carol Moseley, Chair of the 2019 All Media Juried Art Show, states, “I am thrilled to see such high-quality work in the gallery and look forward to hosting two receptions, to accommodate the large crowds expected for this stellar event.”

Gallery receptions are free and open to the public. They are as follows:

Sunday, April 7, 2019 (3PM-5PM) -- Opening and Award Reception, and

Monday evening, April 8th, (6PM-8PM) Sip n’ See Reception, at the HCAC Gallery, 1027 Roanoke Avenue, in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. Street parking is available, as well as lot parking across the street in front of the gallery, and in the rear of the gallery.
